Scott Wilcox is a father of three kids, a husband of 24 years and until 6 years ago was a middle school special education teacher.  One day, one of his students challenged him to use his musical talents, and so he wrote a song, sent it to Oprah Winfrey, and she loved it.   Three weeks later he sang it live on her show for 45 million people.  See it here, (https://youtu.be/eqKkFmpjtHQ).  A year later he won the coveted Bob Dylan Songwriting Award and won it again the following year. Since then he has appeared on every major network as well as NPR. And in 2016, he sang in a Super Bowl 50 Commercial (https://youtu.be/9KqekigARfE). Scott’s shows are emotional and fun, inspiring and moving.  He’s written over 300 songs and plays many familiar covers in a slightly unfamiliar way.  You’ll find his soulful acoustic country blues exactly what you need to forget the day or create new memories.  Check out his music and experiences at www.scottwilcox.net
